CSz Boston, the founder of The Rozzie Square Theater, is looking for experienced improvisers to join the ComedySportz™️ Minor League Team for 2026 and beyond!
If you’re looking to join a collaborative, welcoming community of improvisers that love making audiences laugh, or to get /maintain your footing in the world of professional, live entertainment, start by reserving your spot!
The Need To Knows
Date: Saturday, December 13th, 2025 and Sunday, December 14th 2025
Time: 1pm - 4pm (there will be a 15-minute break included)
Improv Experience: Completion of at least Level 2A @ The Rozzie Square Theater or equivalent improv course work at an established comedy theater.
Requirements: 18 + and out of high school; access to transportation to attend regular practices and shows in the Roslindale neighborhood; a positive attitude toward learning and being part of a team.
What to expect after the audition: Immediately following your Tryout, you’ll receive an email to either invite you to our Call Backs process or notify you it’s not a fit at this time.
How Call Backs work: Our Call Backs process involves attending our All Company Pro Practice on Tuesday December 16th, 2025. Call Backs are a two-way process, in which we’ll all have a chance to work together. If selected, you'll be invited to join our Minor League Team! Our Minor League program is designed to welcome you into the Community and grow as a team, immerse you in the ComedySportz™️format, and the develop skills needed before performing regularly with ComedySportz™️Minor League.
Weekly Practices: Minor League Team practices will be Thursday evenings from 7pm - 9pm starting in January 2026, at The Rozzie Square Theater.
Moving to Majors: At the discretion of the Minor League coaches and ComedySportz™️Boston Managers, members of the Minor League will be invited to join the Major League team roster. There is no set schedule or guarantee of placement with the Major League team - it will be on an individual basis.
As a cast member of the ComedySportz Boston Minor League, teammates will:
Be trained in how to perform our flagship improv comedy show, ComedySportz ™️
Have access to regular performance opportunities and coaching to help grow as a performer and teammate
Receive consistent ongoing training and development in various forms of improv, including but not limited to ComedySportz™️
Be part of a growing community that is building for future generations of improvisers and comedians
Be an official ComedySportz Minor League Player in CSz Worldwide, a global network of improvisers (40+ years in the business, and in 30 cities across the U.S. and Europe)
