Roslindale Queer Comedy Night

stand-up and more

🏳️‍🌈Roslindale Queer Comedy Night 🎤

3rd Friday of every month @ 7:30p

Hosted by Boston-based stand-up comic Nora Panahi, this event is for anyone who loves to enjoy a great live comedy show while supporting the LGBTQIA + community and local businesses. Join us as we welcome new and familiar faces and laugh together.

The comics are different every month! To be considered or to refer a comic you know for this show, please send inquiries to info@rozziesquaretheater.com.

For Everyone: Ages 15+ are gently suggested, but not required. You know your kid better than we do and what they can handle with content, sitting for a full show, etc.

About Queer Comedy Night: This event was originally created as a collaboration between The Rozzie Square Theater and Roslindale Pride. Roslindale Pride is comprised of members of the LGBTQIA+ community who live in Roslindale, Hyde Park, and West Roxbury and are interested in creating a community and meeting up once a month or bi-monthly. This is a private Facebook group for those who identify as LGBTQ. If you or someone you know is interested in the group, you can request to join.

Nora Panahi is an Iranian-American stand-up comic with great hair and a manual transmission. She has been featured in HBO's Women in Comedy Festival, the YallaPunk Arts Festival, and Jacque's Cabaret High Key. You can find her performing in and out of drag all over Boston, New York, and the greater New England area. Panahi is also a staff writer for Sabah Il-Khara, a daytime talk show for the queer SWANA (South West Asian, North African) crowd.
