Roslindale Queer Comedy Night + caboodle

a comedy experience like no other in Boston

🏳️‍🌈Roslindale Queer Comedy Night + caboodle🎤

3rd Friday of every month @ 7:30p

Join us for a comedy experience like no other in Boston! Roslindale QCN, now in its 5th year, is a monthly curated lineup of local queer comedians showcasing their talent for the hilarious to a roomful of incredibly cool audience members (that's you!).

Hosted by the magnetic force that is Nora Panahi, named Boston’s Favorite Queer Comedian 2025, you'll see 4 experienced, polished comics perform 10-minute sets each, and leave feeling energized and happier than when you walked in. At least, that's our goal of QCN!

The comics take the stage at 7:30P, and the fun starts at 6:30P with our (optional, open to all) free caboodle* - this time before the show starts is an opportunity to get to the theater a little earlier, grab the seats you want, and see what fun thing the QCN Hosts have for the room that night - sometimes it's snacks to munch and mingle over, a simple prompt welcoming annonymous submissions, hot chocolate, ice cream from our friends at sweeties, or anything else we can dream up in the name of good times.

*What is a caboodle? Simply put: it’s a hangout before the show!

For Comics: Inquiries about being booked for this show can reach out to info@rozziesquaretheater.com

For Everyone: Ages 15+ are gently suggested, but not required. You know your kid better than we do and what they can handle with content, sitting for a full show, etc.

About Queer Comedy Night: This event was originally created as a collaboration between The Rozzie Square Theater and Roslindale Pride. Roslindale Pride is comprised of members of the LGBTQIA+ community who live in Roslindale, Hyde Park, and West Roxbury and are interested in creating a community and meeting up once a month or bi-monthly. This is a private Facebook group for those who identify as LGBTQ. If you or someone you know is interested in the group, you can request to join.

Nora Panahi is an Iranian-American stand-up comic with great hair and a manual transmission. She has been featured in HBO's Women in Comedy Festival, the YallaPunk Arts Festival, and Jacque's Cabaret High Key. You can find her performing in and out of drag all over Boston, New York, and the greater New England area. Panahi is also a staff writer for Sabah Il-Khara, a daytime talk show for the queer SWANA (South West Asian, North African) crowd.
