First, Only Boston AAPI Comedy Festival Returns; Fresh Line-Up and Show Added to Meet Demand

May 22-24 event features standup comedy, improv, music, storytelling, and magic. 

BOSTON, MA – May 5, 2025 - The Rozzie Square Theater, the leading and established comedy venue making improv accessible to Boston and Greater Boston areas, announces the return of the AAPI Comedy Festival. The AAPI Comedy Festival is the first and only of its kind in Boston and now in its second year. 

The 2025 iteration of the annual festival increased the number of total shows available to 4, a direct response to the 3 sold out shows and influx of applicants in 2024. Each show aims to highlight the breadth and depth of the Boston AAPI comedy scene across multiple comedy arts, including improv, storytelling, music, magic, and standup comedy. The festival will be hosted by Boston-based stand-up comic, Nora Panahi. Special Guest Judges and honored community champions will be celebrated as part of the festivities; announcements of those attendees will be made in the 2 weeks leading up to the festival.
