Open Call Audition:
Please arrive by 12:00pm at the Rozzie Square Theater, at 18 Corinth Street, Boston, MA, 02131.
Please prepare a ~1-minute-long monologue of your choosing. If needed, you may have the script in your hand to refer to during your audition. Please bring 4 copies of the monologue for the audition panel. If you would like to audition for the short musical, you may perform a song of your choosing a capella (~16 to 32 bars) in addition to the monologue. If you have an acting resume, please bring one copy for the panel.
An Open Call audition will likely take 5 to 10 minutes.
Self-tape Audition:
Please email your self-tape audition to rozzieshortsfestival@gmail.com by the end of the day on June 5th. If you have an acting resume, please share a copy in that email.
When taping your audition, please orient your camera in landscape (horizontal). Make sure there is decent light falling on you and shoot in a medium shot (about your belt buckle to the top of your head).
Share your name, then perform a ~1-minute-long monologue of your choosing. If needed, you may have the script in your hand to refer to during your audition. If you would like to audition for the short musical, please perform a song of your choosing a capella (~16 to 32 bars) in addition to the monologue.
A Note to Auditioners: We are grateful for your time, and you can expect to hear from us by June 14th about the result of your audition.
